About Our products
Hand on heart, we believe that our handrails are the finest that you can get anywhere. And here’s why;
Pure Italian stainless steel.
Whereas many of our competitors use inferior quality stainless steel from China, our hand rails are made using top quality Italian stainless steel.
Top grade finish.
There are different grades and surface finishes of stainless steel. Many of our competitors use a 240grit dull polish finish. We prefer to use a 320grit Super Satin which has a greater corrosion resistance and matches perfectly with the brackets and end fittings. Grade 304 (that’s the standard ‘18/8’ stainless that you will probably see in your pots and pans) is also widely used, but we use Grade 304L with a lower Carbon content for our handrails. Grade 316L for our handrails and fixings. This has a greater corrosion resistance and can be used indoors or outdoors. It’s also ideal where there is a higher than normal risk of corrosion such as around swimming pools and in coastal areas. Please ask if you require your handrail to be made to order using Grade 316L stainless steel.
Consistent finish across handrails and brackets
. Our fittings & fixings are finished in exactly the same grade of satin polish as our handrails. This means that you get a beautiful seamless look.
Stronger joints
. We create your handrails to order and that means we drill holes where you need to affix brackets. To do this we use a system called flow drilling. This creates a welt inside the handrail which increases the thickness of the steel and means that the thread of the screw has more thickness to grip against. This, in turn, creates stronger joints.
